Frequently Asked Questions

Common questions about organisational surveys and how DMSA can help.

DMSA offers a comprehensive range of organisational surveys including Employee Engagement, Culture & Climate Surveys, 360 Degree Feedback Surveys, Pulse Surveys, Tenant & Broker Surveys, Customer & Stakeholder Satisfaction Surveys, Exit Interview Surveys, Treating Customers Fairly (TCF) Surveys, and Qualitative & Quantitative Data Gathering. Each survey is scientifically designed and tailored to your organisation's specific needs. If you are unsure which survey is right for you, contact us and one of our consultants will advise you.

The right survey depends on what question your organisation is trying to answer. If you want to understand how engaged and motivated your employees are — an Employee Engagement Survey is the right starting point. If you want frequent, real-time feedback — a Pulse Survey is ideal. If you need to assess individual leadership or performance — a 360 Degree Feedback Survey is most appropriate. If you are losing employees and want to understand why — an Exit Interview Survey is the right choice. DMSA's Industrial Psychologists and consultants are happy to discuss your situation and recommend the most appropriate solution at no cost before any commitment is made.

A typical DMSA survey project takes between four and eight weeks from initial briefing to final report delivery. This includes questionnaire design and sign-off, online platform setup and testing, the fieldwork period (usually two to three weeks during which employees complete the survey), data analysis and quality checking, and delivery of your dashboard, written report and executive presentation. Timelines vary depending on the size of your organisation and the complexity of the survey design. DMSA can also accommodate urgent turnarounds where needed — contact us to discuss your timeline.

Yes — anonymity and confidentiality are fundamental to how DMSA administers all surveys. We never report results for any group of fewer than five respondents, which prevents individual identification. Survey responses are collected on a secure platform and individual data is never shared with your organisation. DMSA acts as an independent third party throughout the process, which significantly increases employee trust and results in higher response rates and more honest answers. Employees are informed of these protections before completing the survey.

DMSA delivers survey results through a combination of interactive dashboards, written reports and executive presentations. Our dashboards allow HR Directors and business leaders to explore findings themselves — filtering by department, level, location or demographic group. Written reports include clear narrative interpretation of the data with prioritised recommendations. DMSA can also facilitate action planning workshops with your leadership team to translate insights into concrete organisational interventions. The survey is the beginning of the process, not the end — our goal is to ensure that data leads to meaningful change. Contact us to find out more.
