Frequently Asked Questions
Common questions about DMSA's services and how we work.
DMSA offers five core service areas: Organisational Surveys (including employee engagement, 360 degree feedback, pulse surveys, tenant and broker surveys, customer satisfaction and exit interviews), Data Analytics (HR analytics, customer analytics and data readiness programmes), Data Analytics Training (from foundational numeracy through to advanced data science), Organisational Development & People Solutions (leadership development, change management, performance management and people analytics), and the DMSA Data Science Consortium (a strategic alliance of specialist data and analytics organisations). All services can be delivered as standalone projects or as part of an integrated programme.
Yes — many of DMSA's clients use multiple services simultaneously or in sequence. For example, an organisation might run an Employee Engagement Survey to understand their current workforce challenges, use the findings to inform a Leadership Development Programme, and then run a Pulse Survey six months later to track whether the interventions are working. DMSA's multi-disciplinary team is structured to support integrated engagements across all service areas, with a single point of contact managing the relationship and ensuring consistency across all workstreams.
Every DMSA engagement starts with a thorough briefing process in which we invest time understanding your organisation's specific context, challenges, objectives and constraints. We do not deliver off-the-shelf solutions — every survey questionnaire, analytics model and training programme is designed or adapted for your specific situation. For surveys this means tailoring the question set, rating scales, demographic filters and reporting structure to your organisational design. For analytics and training it means using your actual data and business scenarios where possible, making the outputs immediately relevant and actionable for your team.
Yes — DMSA works with organisations of all sizes, from small professional services firms with 50 employees through to large listed companies and government departments with thousands of staff. Our services are designed to scale — a pulse survey for a team of 30 is designed differently from one for an organisation of 5 000, but the methodological rigour and quality of analysis is the same. We are happy to discuss the most cost-effective approach for your organisation's size and budget during an initial consultation at no cost.
The easiest way is to contact us for an initial conversation. Our consultants will ask about your organisation's current challenges and objectives and recommend the most appropriate starting point — whether that is a survey, an analytics project, a training programme or an organisational development intervention. There is no obligation attached to this initial discussion and we are genuinely happy to advise even if the conclusion is that a different provider or approach would serve you better.
